Faith
We grow in our relationship with God and in respect for every person, following the example of Venerable Nano Nagle.
Our motto
For Faith and Morals
The school crest carries the Latin motto Pro Fide Et Moribus, “For Faith and Morals”. It sums up what we hope every Williamite carries into life: a living faith, and the strength of character to act on it.
The crowned shield, framed in gold, bears a cross in the school green with the letters P and C for Presentation Convent: a reminder that St. William's belongs to the worldwide family of Presentation schools founded on the vision of Venerable Nano Nagle.
The spirit we live by
Not words, but deeds.Motto of the Presentation Sisters
By degrees and with the assistance of God, we may do a great deal.Venerable Nano Nagle
Our values
We grow in our relationship with God and in respect for every person, following the example of Venerable Nano Nagle.
Discipline, integrity and responsibility are formed every day, in the classroom and beyond it.
Like the Lady of the Lantern, we reach out to the poor, the sick and the forgotten, and share what we have.
We give our best in studies, sports and the arts, and celebrate every achievement along the way.
We prepare young women to lead with confidence, moral clarity and self-belief, as authors of their own destinies.
Through our Eco Club, Go Green campaigns and awareness rallies, we learn to protect our common home.
Nano Nagle envisioned a mission rooted in working with people and for people. Following her, St. William's helps every student discover the light within herself and share it with others, so that she grows into a responsible citizen who contributes meaningfully to society and takes an active part in transforming it.
As we look forward to the next 250 years, we pledge to keep Nano's lantern burning brightly: to let her courage inspire our discipline, her compassion shape our character, and her dedication to the marginalised guide our mission of empowering the women of tomorrow.
